FAQ
-
Where do we stay for your wedding?
We have hotel room blocks at both the Holiday Inn Kent Island and Best Western Kent Narrows Inn. There are plenty of other hotels and accommodations in the area, including AirBnB & VRBO. We encourage our guests to book as early as possible, as it is a busy holiday weekend in the area.

Will there be transportation to the venue?
We want you to relax and safely enjoy our big day. We have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the wedding ceremony and reception.
Shuttles will depart from both the Holiday Inn & Best Western beginning at 3:50 p.m., before our ceremony and offer return trips after the reception. Reception will end at 11 p.m. -
What should I wear?
Dress to impress! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for floor-length or cocktail dresses. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style—show us your style!
We will be partying on the Chesapeake Bay, so while it might be warm during the ceremony, be prepared for it to cool off at night and dress accordingly!
-
Is there a Before & After party?
While there is no official Welcome Party, we invite guests who travel into the area early to meet us for a cocktail (or two) on Wednesday evening at The Jetty Dock Bar.
Let’s keep the party going! There will be an After Party near the hotels after our reception has ended. Details to follow.
-
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Due to the capacity with our venue, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
-
Are children invited to the wedding?
We have opted to limit our younger guest list to family. Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate all of them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family—use it as a date night on us!
-
Is there anything to do in town?
It is a busy holiday weekend in the area. Annapolis, Maryland (20 miles away) is our home, and home to the Naval Academy, hosting their 2025 graduation. You can visit the historic city that will be bustling with people and events all week long.
Tuesday, May 20th & Wednesday, May 21st Annapolis hosts the Blue Angels Air Show which will be visible from both sides of the bay! It’s truly spectacular!
